Ingredients (for 2 cups)
- 1 organic apple (preferably sweet, such as Golden or Gala) cut into quarters with the skin on
- 1 tsp turmeric powder (or 2 cm grated fresh root)
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger (approx. 2 cm), peeled and grated
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary (or 1 tsp. dried rosemary)
- 1 pinch of black pepper (optional but recommended for curcumin)
- 500 ml of filtered water
- 1 tsp honey (optional, at the end of preparation)
Preparation
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the apple wedges, turmeric, ginger and rosemary.
- Reduce heat and simmer gently for 10 to 12 minutes .
- Add a pinch of black pepper just before turning off the heat to boost the absorption of the turmeric.
- Let it infuse for 5 minutes off the heat, then filter.
- Serve very hot, with a spoonful of honey if you wish.

- For a detox and anti-bloating effect , drink this infusion after meals .
- In case of chronic pain, you can consume it 1 to 2 times a day for 2 weeks .
- The cold version is also delicious: let it infuse, filter and keep cool with a few ice cubes.
